Creating and maintaining a safe work environment is the most fundamental and important aspect of our work. Our commitment to safety extends beyond our employees and project owners to family members, as we want everyone to go home safe at the end of the day.

Riviere's Construction LTD. health and safety programs promote a safe environment for everyone at the jobsite. Our crews will follow our own safe workplace practices plus any additional safety policies required by your company.

 Site supervisors are responsible for ensuring that safe work practices are followed at each jobsite – and every employee is expected to do their part. Site supervisors are required to take Supervisor Training In Accident Reduction Techniques and Leadership for Safety Excellence. Riviere's Construction LTD. full-time safety officer also ensures that our safe work practices are continually improved upon and been adhered to.

We ensure all employees receive the required safety tickets and job specific training to perform their jobs with competency.  Our employees are required to have the minimum following tickets:

• First Aid          
• CSTS
• H2S
• WHIMIS
• TDG
• ​Ground Disturbance

 Project specific safety is addressed with pre-startup hazard assessments and ongoing daily “tool gate” meetings to assess changes in site safety. 

Protecting our environment is our top concern and is committed to minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment while managing our operations economically and efficiently.

Riviere's has introduced a Environmental Observation card to projects to help avoid and report any possible encounters or incidents that may occur.
